I hate nactation. I can't remember the Z's an the p's and the rest of the cockamamie notation letters and symbols. It is the attempt to make higher backgammon more exclusive for some small amount of additional brevity. It will never catch on mainstream. It should be dropped entirely and never should have started.

I think it's ridiculous. Changing the way scoring has been done for far longer is the same. It saves a step for those in the know and confuses everyone else. No need for it.

Nactation will eventually drop by the wayside. There's no commercial value to it. With the scoring people can just see that easier.
