What are the other federations doing? UK? Other countries in Europe? Japan? There needs to be worldwide standardization of backgammon rules. It's bad if each federation does its own thing.

Do you have links to the rules of each federation? I'd like to study them.

I've notified my club members about your proposed revision. At tonight's club meeting I'll advise them to alert me about any dice landing on checkers rolls and to hear what think about the proposed change.
