Of course these are extreme examples, but for the sake of argument...

Player A enters 10 tournaments, goes 8-3 each time, loses last chance finals each time (perhaps in real life he may have figured out how to hedge by then), finishes 80-30

Player B enters 10 tournaments, goes 0-3 in 7 of them and goes 6-0 in three of them and wins three first place trophies. Player B finishes 18-21.

I'm pretty sure A would be way Who gets forced up into OPEN and why? As things stand presently I think Player B would be called the sandbagger by those prone to making such accusations.
