Phil,

By your logic the Giants List should never have been created. It's a vote, and it only occurs every two years. That's pretty lame.

I agree with you about PR, but we have very sparse data on that. We have far more data on tournament results.

The data I have so far is only U.S. data. If Bill Davis's ABT points system were rolled out to Asia and Europe, we'd be able to more accurately assess people who play here and abroad ... like Mochy. On my web page I cite Petko's 3rd place tie in Monte Carlo. That's omitted from my data, because Europe doesn't have Bill's system.

I don't see anything in your note which details an alternative to what I have proposed. All I see is you throwing rocks at my proposal. You must be a Republican :-)
