USBGF Rules - We need worldwide consistency

I won't be trying your USBGF rules at my club.

1. They represent a deviation from what the rest of world is using. Did you even bother alerting them as to what you were trying to do? You certainly didn't involve the rank and file USBGF members ... at least to my recollection. Comparing it to Obamacare is amusing, because the Republican Party has tried about 50 times to repeal it.

2. I vehemently disagree with the "dice landing on checkers" rule.

3. At 23 pages plus an appendix, it's a pretty onerous job to expect my club membership and I to understand it all. The existing rules (http://www.chicagopoint.com/usrules09.pdf) are only two pages long. They've worked fine for the 8 years of my club's existence. You should have gone the direction of golf where there's a rules document and a decisions document. Most of your 23+ page document would go in the decisions document.
