I believe there is a big difference starting out the game with one side holding a 2 cube. First, since hammond count from the get-go, that might well change even early game checker plays and blitzing plays in particular. Second, I could be too good to double on an initial cube. Third, I might miss some cubes and Mochy can't miss cubes. Third, we all know that you have to be better to redouble a money game than to double, so positions I am used to doubling might not be a redouble.

We all know that when you hold the cube there are certain types of games where you have greater cube efficiency, so shouldn't I be steering toward those types of games and should Mochy be steering toward the kinds of games where I have less cube efficiency? If this is the case that might well change some checker play decisions we would not normally make at that point in a game.

Since we are playing a specific number of games, should money-management be a factor?

Also we are playing money games with a clock--something neither of us are used to, and that also will add a variable that will affect decisions and should also hurt our PR's. Will it hurt me more than Mochy? We all know the longer Mochy can think the better he will play, and those who know my game could make a good argument for the opposite affect to me!
