Generally speaking there will be a tendency for both players to have lower PRs than normal because there are less cube choices to make (the player owning the cube doesn't get pass/take positions and the opponent doesn't get double/no double positions, and cube PR is usually significantly higher than overall PR.

However, in Mochy's case, his long-term average cube PR is extremely low and close to that of his overall PR, so there will be tend to be negligible change in PR. In Phil's case however, I think there may tend to be some reduction in his overall PR by perhaps 0.3 to 0.7.

This is an additional factor that needs to be considered in this proposition. It now looks to me like Mochy needs a PR edge of about 3.3 to break even (considering long term PRs for money in normal centred cube start positions).
