All well and good, Ken. Manual data collection is very tedious, as I also mentioned. Increasing ABT coverage from 61 to 600 may not change any numbers in the top of the field, since you've started with recent tournament winners and placers (you say your selection criteria was haphazard, but which top perfomers are missing, if any?) As for expanding to other tournaments, your formula depends on knowing how many participants all events had, and how many events all participants attended. As time-consuming as what you have done has been, at least you've had that available, from USBGF, for every ABT tournament.
