Why do you feel the need to tell me I'm missing "the big picture"?

My comments above, and before, were only tagging onto Matt's response to you pointing out that a rating system such as yours is fine, is what it is, but doesn't necessarily identify the best players, which you claimed. In fact, you mentioned your system, in this thread, in the context of a discussion on how to identify and vote for the true "giants" of backgammon.

I'm fully aware of what you have done and intend to do with your points system. Best wishes.
