I announced when I was repositioning my dice. My opponents looked at me like I was mad. Of course I was in the Intermediate division so maybe the players there aren't up to speed on the rules.

I agree with Bill about the baffle boxes and dice tubes. I think I heard the same disagreement he did and I was surprised that it was even a dispute. Unless BOTH players agree to the box or the tube, I would argue that "standard" rolling is the default.
