I get that the rule rewrite was a group endeavor. But when I read the rule about dice, cups, baffle boxes, and dice tubes, it seems to me (and to Bob, also, I believe) that the rule clearly means that (1) one player's desire to use a baffle box or dice tube takes precedence over the other player's not wanting to use them, unless the other player has a good reason not to use them, and (2) there aren't any good reasons not to use them. But at the same time, it doesn't seem like anyone, including you, a co-writer of the rules, and Patrick, who ran a tournament with those rules, is following that rule -- you would ignore it, and Patrick didn't (consistently) apply it that way.

So ... the rules needs to be rewritten, or enforced as written. That is all.
