I guess fun is different for different people.

To me, it's more fun if both players use the same equipment. It looks more professional; the table is less cluttered; and it gives the impression of fairness. (One of the things I like about clock rules is that both players use the same dice.)

And Phil makes a valid point. I might say the reason I want to use a baffle box is to reduce cocked dice. But my actual reason might be that I'm not happy with opponent's rolling technique.

I don't care which we use but, please, let's use the same equipment.
