Well, at least we can agree that this is confusing. In my opinion, when you have rules that state what is "legal" but you also have a rule stating that if your opponent does something "illegal" you can accept it, to me that means that if he illegally passes his turn you can, if you are allowed to accept illegal actions, simply allow that to happen. Again, in my opinion, with legal moves, you are supposed to correct illegal actions such as putting your own checker on the bar, or passing your turn, etc.

That we disagree on this does not mean that you are wrong or I am wrong...it means that the previous rules put us into a questionable area. If you maintain that with legal moves this is not cleared up, that is a good point and maybe this should be addressed more explicitly as an example.
