When I was playing Richard Munitz and was what people would call wildly low on time...

Did those 'people' include MCG or UBK?

If I have any doubt whether or not my opponent is aware of time shortage I point it out when it's NOT his/her turn, between games when possible and at most once per match. That takes care of all those arguments that go like "...you are disturbing your opponent's concentration...."
