Eliminating LC is an unbundling. Right now, LC and the rest of the Main are bundled together as one item. You have to purchase all or nothing. Eliminating LC would be an introduction of choice for the players. They can purchase additional play on Sunday or they can skip it. As you know, I am biased towards freedom. I have great faith that allowing choice / freedom will ultimately benefit all parties.

Let's see if one or more organizers want to try the idea. If that happens, we'll see if it works well or not. There's no reason to push everyone to change at once. I have always felt that a variety of offerings is good for the game. That allows everyone to choose the tournaments they like best.
