Thanks for sharing your thoughts...it's always good to hear fresh voices.

Two small comments.

1. Nobody (in this thread at least) has said or suggested that bridge is a gambling game. I said the exact opposite in my post.

2. While the internet is certainly an important part of the equation, I think most people get introduced to games in meatspace, playing face-to-face in a live social setting. Once that initial step is taken, the internet can kick in to help sustain interest, but the initial step is hard to achieve just via the internet.
