In Response To: Nordic Open Ruling in Quarterfinals -- O'Laughlin vs. Mitrelis (Kevin Finch)

Ed played a 6 on his die by moving 7 pips, hit his clock and dropped his cup on the floor. While he was under the table, his opponent "corrected" the illegal play by moving the checker back one pip and proceeded to roll a good number from the bar. When Ed looked at the board, he asked why his checker was not where he placed it. Mayhem ensues. A committee ruled the opponent illegally corrected the move but his premature roll stood and Ed could make a legal play while knowing his opponent's roll. Question to Bill: in the chat you thought that the premature roll should be voided. Is this "premature rolls stand" part of ABT rules?
