But if you're thinking that way Bob, then, it was during Mitrelis' turn that he moved Ed's checker....the video shows that Ed hit his clock before Mitrelis moved Ed's checker. Therefore you could conclude that Ed's illegal move was condoned and then Mitrelis played illegally by moving Ed's checker during Mitrelis' turn. And then Ed noticed this illegal play before he rolled, therefore Mitrelis must correct it. Thus, the position Ed played illegally (18/11 with his 6) could stand but Mitrelis would have to play the 35 legally. In this scenario Ed still has his double direct shot.
