When the rule is changed, we won't need peer pressure. Until then, whether we want to be or not, we will be on a two-track course. One track will be driven by a rational effort the get the rule changed. The other one will be governed by the irrational emotions and inevitable hurt that is caused by actions such as Herb's.

You may believe that we should not judge. I claim it is inevitable. We all would hope that relationships are not harmed. But I can think of two people who probably won't be sharing a beer and a laugh anytime soon.
