Suggested Idea for Performance Grading

I just feel there needs to be an element of consistency in defining a player's true playing strength.
I have played matches where somehow I come out with a very good PR. When I look over them I sometimes see an absolute horror move I made that cost a huge chunk of equity (0.23 was something recent). When I study an error like that I realise that despite my good overall PR rating for the match... really good player's just do not make the type of mistakes I do. I'm not talking of an oversight like missing a hit, I'm talking about seeing the right move and dismissing it anyway, because I just don't really know what is going on.
What I described is quite subjective, however I don't think blunders coming up is a good sign of backgammon mastery.
