You refer to "the closely converging big-rollout opinions of multiple highly trained neural net bots"... I agree with you that this convergence is going on, but we still see enough flipflops on rollout, and enough significant changes in PR when most of the real decisions in a match are rolled out, vs. just "first pass world class", that I'm not comfortable with saying we're there yet. We are certainly in the pinch point region of what the bot says now vs. the fixed star of absolute truth. Still, I'd feel more confident in the ratings systems being proposed here if we were a bit farther into it. I'd like to see the bots reach a place where we don't see PRs change from 3.5 to 4.1 when the rollouts are done. I have no doubt that the bots (in particular, future iterations of XG) will get there, but it might be, say, five years off.
