In Response To: Incorrect match length and Crawford rules interaction (Bob Koca)

It is already Crawford game if the score has just become 6-5 to 7 and the next game has begun. The question is whether it remains Crawford game if the match length error is then discovered. The answer is yes. No correction to match length is made under this rule until any game currently in progress is completed. Therefore, the match remains to 7 points and therefore Crawford for the duration of that one game. If the match to 7 ends, either because the leader wins or the trailer wins a gammon, the match is over. If, however, the score is 6-6 after that game, the match length is then adjusted to 9 and the match continues, obviously raising the possibility of a second Crawford game.
