Breaks are not allowed in chess, your time keeps running. In adjourned games everything is allowed but I think no more tourmanents are with this format. With the technology is a real nightmare to check everyone who goes to toilet. I stopped playing tournaments 13 years ago but even at my time it happened to see someone going to toilet with a bag with an opening book inside. We don't have to worry much about bg luckily, in chess cheating live is a big problem, one bulgarian guy named Ivanov played (many players refused )for quite a long time before being discovered the trick. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borislav_Ivanov

So we can't call cheating these things in bg but coaching expect for checking the take point, it happened to every player I think at least once in carrer and maybe non intentionally to talk about the match with friends during a break.
