Check the position during the break

I said on going "game" in the original post but it might be confusing. Let me clarify what I wanted to ask.

Is it legal to check the position which is happened in on going "match" by bot during the break? (ex. cube action in the last game)

Somebody said it is strictly prohibited in Denmark and if you break it you will be disqualified. (I don't know if it is true or not)
