Impossible Move in Connecticut

I do not have the clearest of definitions. I did differentiate in the sense the coming in and hitting is forced and a piece must come in.

With illegal I think moving an extra checker, coming up a pip short or a pip too much.

It was pointed out to me though that impossible has to be a position that is impossible like 2 opposing pieces on a spot or something like that.
