Given the choice at dmp in the final match of a major tournament, would you allow your checker to be placed on the bar?

Then, do you know for a fact that your op would give the same response, and if as likely not, do you stand by your first answer?

Well it wouldn't happen to me in this fashion because I would have asked at the beginning of the match if the person wanted to play legal moves. That takes a lot of the responsibility off my shoulders. If they said yes and we were playing legal then there is no problem. If they had said no then in all likelyhood screw them. They said no originally which means they wouldn't likely extend me the same courtesy. When I offer to play legal moves I feel like I'm giving up equity to begin with. I do it because it's how I think the game should be played.
