I notice you did not address my argument that we are all social animals, and that we may, on occassion, find that it is better for us to modify our behavior to suit society even when we feel we are in the right not to do so. Presumably, you agree.

And since you have already observed that a significant number of posters have expressed a negative attitute towards Herb’s tactics, you also presumably agree that Herb, perhaps wrongly, must make the choice either to take note of the reaction his tactics have generated, or else to willingly take the consequences.
