USING A LOT OF CAPITAL LETTERS DOES NOT MAKE AN ARGUMENT STRONGER.

I am not amazed that some people can simultaneously say that Herb absolutely "DID NOTHING WRONG OR UNSPORTSMANLIKE IN ANY WAY" because he "simply followed the rules," and that "this is a disgusting way to win a game or match."

I don't blame Herb. His inquiry as to whether the checker was on the bar or not was proper. But I would have ruled, under the existing rule, that the checker was on the bar. I don't think that ruling is "simply ridiculous."
