Impossible Move in Connecticut

I may be wrong but between what Bill Davis has said recently on BGO, and what is posted on Chicagopoint about the ABT, the ABT (USBG) rules are recommended but not required. Reading Bill's recent post I don't think he is completely against a TD adopting changes to the rules. I think though that at a minimum that whatever rule changes a TD makes, that they be done so for the betterment of Backgammon and players in general. Bill would probably have an opinion of any rule changes, but it sounds like he wouldn't necessarily prohibit it.
