Just one more argument for Legal Moves

I agree with you here Phil. My biggest error was forgetting to ask to play legal moves before the start of the match which I often do. Maybe even tournaments that are not legal moves should clarify that is is legal to agree and play legal moves. That may seem obvious but if a tournament is not legal moves it may appear that one should not be playing legal moves for some reason. I am a legal moves guy and I personally would have had my checker on the bar if it was me. My exceptions would be as you mentioned: if a player refused legal moves, or if legal moves was not specified and a player is known for having taken advantage of that situation in the past.
