In Response To: Just one more argument for Legal Moves (Phil Simborg)

The rules state that if a player makes an illegal move the other play can choose to let it stand.

Here. He CAN choose, not MUST choose to let the mishap stay. There is law and then there is justice; the two are hardly the same. Luckily in this case the law allows for a just decision. Herb elected to not use the just clause in order to gain a decisive advantage.
